A World Book Day Wordsearch
Your challenge is to turn the inside of a shoe box or cereal box into a small-world scene that celebrates a book as a whole or shows a key part of a story.
Have a Book Bake Off and bake/cook something book-related. Gruffalo crumble, anyone?
Have a go at following the tutorial to make a basic origami bookmark shape, then go wild with your imagination to turn it into a book-inspired character. It could be a dragon, a tiger, a monster...you decide!There are some examples of different designs in the attachment.
Can you interview different family members to find out what they liked reading when they were your age? Are any books and authors they read still around or popular today?
