Week 7 Friday Maths (Mrs Ferrier/Mrs Davis Set)

Today's task is continuing with line graphs, this time recording information about temperatures of hot drinks. Interpret the data to answer a range of questions about the line graph. If you can, print the graph out to help you read it accurately.

There are three levels for you to choose from.

'Starting Point' is the sheet with 1 star.

'Feeling Happy' is the sheet with 2 stars.

'Hot Stuff' is the sheet with 3 stars. (This has 2 sets of data on one graph)

The answers are included.

5M maths set Friday - line graphs consolidation

well done for all your hard work reading, inr=terpretting and drawing line graphs this week.

Today's challenge is a to use all of the new skills that you've learned.  Have a go at some of these different types of questions - if you can't print off the resource then work onto squared paper if possible.

I don't expect you to complete all of the questions (unless you want to) but please have a go at the last question - drawing a line graph!

Week 7 Thursday Maths (Mrs Ferrier/Mrs Davis Set)

Today's task is based on line graphs recording information about running races, like we have looked at in the session.

Thursday 5M Maths Main activity

Today's task is to draw and plot a line graph using some given data in a table.

Choose your level of challenge (silver or gold); remember to include the features of a line graph discussed in the lesson.

**if you can't print the grid, use squared paper if you have it.  If not, do your best keeping your scales and gridlines as straight as possible (ask an adult/older sibling for help).
