Attached is a copy of the information we talked about in the Zoom lesson today, together with two scans of useful parts of the Thesaurus at school - sorry that this isn't brilliantly clear but it's the best it would do! There's also the persuasive wordbank we created last week.
Today's task is multiplying 3 digit by 2 digit numbers.
When choosing your level of challenge, please have a go at the expected (Q4 - 6) or the greater depth (Q7 - 9), as these involve the method being taught.
If you are having difficulty then you may try the developing (fully expanded approach Q1 - 3).

Continue to practise multiplying TO x TO and HTO x TO with the calculations on the attached sheets. Work for about 20 minutes on them and check regularly that you have the correct answers - the answers are on the second sheet in the file. Think about where you want to start and, as you would in class, if you want to, start at the Starting Place to do 1 or 2 then move on to Feeling Happy when you are more confident if you want. If you are finding it tricky then drop in to talk to me at 2pm.

This week's experiment focuses on friction and how a hovercraft moves. Hovercrafts are really interesting as they move on top of a layer of air. The layer of air reduces friction allowing the hovercraft to move quickly over both land and sea.
