I have had quite a few requests for Christmas book ideas from both parents and children so in the 'Links' tab I have uploaded the Top 100 Recommended Reads for Year 5, which features a range of modern and classic fiction as well as some non-fiction, poetry and picture books. There is a great selection of books, some of which have already proved popular in Year 5 this year. The majority are on Accelerated Reader - you can check this by logging onto www.arbookfind.co.uk
The only one to avoid is There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom as that is one of the books we study in the Summer term.
I have also uploaded some festive recommendations, which are grouped by ages. Again, there are some super suggestions.
