Home Learning Activities for Week 6 (Week beginning February 8th)

Week 6

Hello Year 5! We have almost survived the first half-term of remote teaching and learning! Well done to all of you for adapting so quickly to this way of working. You will all deserve a week’s break by the time we get to Friday!

This week we will continue in much the same way with our daily Zooms for English and maths. The only difference is the 11am Zoom on Friday. This will not be a maths set session – instead we will be remaining in our class groups for a more informal session where we will be showing a video of all the incredible aliens that have been making an appearance in and around Lancing at the moment! We thought it would be nice to have a catch-up with all the children and if they would like, they can bring along a cake or a snack to enjoy with their friends for the last session before half term.

Below is a selection of different activities for you to have a go at throughout the week. All activities can be found under the 'Isolation' tab unless we are providing a direct link, in which case it will be under the 'Links' tab.
