Children's Mental Health Week 2021

mental healthThis week is Children's Mental Health Week and the guide below for parents and carers has some top tips for helping children express themselves.

With all the changes and upheaval at the moment, children's mental health and well-being is so important. We are well aware that some children do not find change, lack of routine or uncertainty easy and that many are missing their friends and the social elements of life in school. We appreciate that life is very tricky at the moment so there may be some helpful tips in the link below. If children find it difficult to express how they are feeling, they often display a range of different behaviours, so giving them the space and time to have a chat to get to the root of their worries often helps.

The work we set is based on Government recommendations but please do not feel your children have to complete everything.  It is important your children take time out if they need to and make time to relax and do activities they enjoy.

Please do speak to any of us via phone, email or during the Zoom drop in if you need to.
