Have a go at following the tutorial to make a basic origami bookmark shape, then go wild with your imagination to turn it into a book-inspired character. It could be a dragon, a tiger, a monster...you decide!There are some examples of different designs in the attachment.
Can you interview different family members to find out what they liked reading when they were your age? Are any books and authors they read still around or popular today? What were their favourite books? What do they love about stories and reading? In the link below are a set of questions you could ask. You may have your own questions you would like to ask.
1. Mozart: A look into the weird and wonderful life of Mozart – from his beautiful compositions to his ridiculous sense of humour.
Can you create a set of Top Trump cards based on characters from one book, or perhaps several? There are some different templates attached below that you could use.
Can you create a word cloud based on a book you have read? Choose as many key words from the book as you can. Create an image using these words. You can either use a word cloud generator on the computer or do one by hand!
Use the template below to create a book review. What books have you enjoyed recently that you could recommend to a friend?
Can you recreate a scene from a book and take a photo of it? You could use toys, cardboard cut-outs or even willing family members! Can you add captions or speech bubbles?

Today's task is continuing with line graphs, this time recording information about temperatures of hot drinks. Interpret the data to answer a range of questions about the line graph. If you can, print the graph out to help you read it accurately.
